Yellowplane is

A process of learning, playing, filming, editing, writing, engineering, designing and communicating. It plunges itself into an endless stream of ideas. It connects disciplines that are already entire worlds in themselves. The combinations that emerge are endless. What YP is for you depends entirely on which angle you look at it and through wich porthole you slip into it, for that see also “hatch“ above.

YP is complex but consists of very simple separate actions and steps. On the face of it, YP`s formula might be described as: „Action + School + Game + Story + Sound + Design“ — inside _connection is all that matters — be it human with (flying) machine, these 5 minutes in relation to the future, linking states and people together. Let’s keep in mind that flying is about reaching even the remotest places.

YP does things and then tells the story how it all worked out (or didn’t). It’s sneaking into technology panels on the hunt for new concepts, studying birds in the wild and on paper, working with people who are building planes in their backyards, learning how to fly hang- and paragliders, sailplanes or single engine ones. You can do it too. You can witness it here, apply this knowledge up there in the air or stay happily on the ground and just watch. With all that being said - let YP move and inspire you.

Yellowplane ist

in Prozess des Lernens, Spielens, Filmens, Editierens, Schreibens, Konstruierens, Designens und Kommunizierens. Es wirft sich in einen unendlichen Strom von Ideen. Es verbindet Disziplinen, die bereits ganze Welten in sich sind. Die Kombinationen, die sich daraus ergeben sind unendlich. Was YP für dich ist hängt ganz davon ab, wie Du drauf schaust und durch welche Luke Du `reinsteigst.

YP ist sehr komplex, besteht aber aus einfachen Aktionen und Schritten. Von außen betrachtet könnte YP’s Formel in etwa so lauten: „Aktion + Schule + Spiel + Story + Klang + Design“ — innen geht es immer ums Verbinden — sei es Mensch und (Flug-) Maschine, diese 5 Minuten mit der Zukunft, Staaten und Leute. Beim Fliegen können wir uns mit den entlegensten Orten verbinden.

YP macht einfach mal und erzählt dann, ob’s geklappt hat oder nicht. Es schleicht sich in Technologie-Panels auf der Suche nach neuen Inspirationen, studiert Vögel in der freien Wildbahn oder auf Papier, arbeitet mit Leuten, die Flugzeuge in ihrem Hinterhof bauen, lernt Deltaflügel (HG), Paraglider (PG), Segelflugzeuge und Motorflugzeuge fliegen. Du kannst das auch. Du kannst hier Zeuge werden, dieses Wissen mit in die Luft nehmen und ganz entspannt am Boden bleiben um Dir das aus sicherer Entfernung anschauen. OK. Zeit, in YP einzutauchen und sich inspirieren zu lassen.

YP treats human and machine as two sides of the same coin with ‚inner growth‘ as heads and ‚shaping the future‘ as tails. That goes with a lot of inspiration, discovering, networking, supporting new ideas and contributing own ones. In Flying it all comes down to this one major design flaw that makes us lag behind the birds: burning fossil fuels on the outside instead of sugar on the inside. Those feathery fellows have it down cold. Their energy and propulsion system is better than ours. But we humans have the Jumbojet. Bring those two together and .. Pow!
